Front Porch Project

The Front Porch Project

Do your part to make our community a safe and nurturing place for children and families to thrive! The Front Porch Project (FPP) is an interactive, fun mix of discussion, video clips and activities that encourages learning and community building so we can all do our part to help prevent child abuse. This concept - and the name of the program - is much the same as a good neighbor sitting on the “front porch” in years past, who would have been aware of and helpful in solving problems affecting families they knew.  You will leave with real-world examples and concrete steps to take when something “just doesn’t seem right” with a child in your neighborhood, school or a public place. First Church, Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church and Butler County Prevention Council are partnering together to host this training on Saturday, September 21 from 9 a.m. - noon at the Downtown Campus. RSVP at 724-284-5114 or info@helpstoppit.com.
