The first value – the footer - that the whole new day stands on – the one that binds all the others together, gives them their identity and strength – is the absolute, undeniable conviction that Jesus Christ is Lord, and no other. He alone has the authority to call the shots in our church and in our lives. To live into God’s new day is to live as Jesus commands us to live.
