Main Ideas:

We become stressed by:

1. Worrying about about the things that we're not doing

2. Focusing on that which we can't control


We defeat stress by:

1. Focusing on what we can control

2. Taking action

3. Having faith that God is in control with the things we don't have control over


Dare to Hope Challenge: Which one of these ways of overcoming stress can you focus on to help deal with stress and being overwhelmed? What is one step you can take to do this? (Examples: seeing the best in someone instead of focusing on how they annoy you, exercising more, make a list of things you're procrastinating on and work getting them done one by one.)
