immediate serving opportunities
LIVESTREAM TEAM
We are in need of more volunteers to help with our First Church online services for God’s Country and/or Crossfire. If you enjoy working behind the scenes, being creative, and working with technology, this is the perfect serving opportunity for you. Livestream volunteers operate video cameras and other technical equipment to capture the God’s Country (Saturday evenings) and Crossfire (Sunday mornings) worship services, and help “bring hope to the couches,” by sharing the lifechanging message of Jesus Christ with our online community. Don’t let the word “technology” scare you - we will teach you everything you need to know! No prior experience is required. Contact Sophie today!
Time Commitment
God’s Country Livestream Team: Saturday nights from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Crossfire Livestream Team: Sunday mornings from 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM
ONLINE HOSTS
If you’ve ever watched a First Church online service (God’s Country or Crossfire) on YouTube or Facebook, you might have noticed an “online host” welcoming everyone, posting sermon notes and scripture references, and engaging with the online viewers in the comment section. Online hosts are very important to the livestream experience because they help the online community feel connected to First Church and give them opportunities to connect with the powerful messages and music they are watching on their screens. If you like making people feel welcome, interacting with others online, and doing it all from the comfort of your home, then this is a great serving opportunity for you. No prior experience is required - we will teach you everything you need to know! Contact Sophie today!
SOUND AND MULTIMEDIA TEAM (DOWNTOWN AND GOD’S COUNTRY)
Help run our sound system and multi-media systems for services and special events. Training is required, but we will teach you everything you need to know. Frequency of service depends on the number of current team members at any given time. Contact Von to serve at God’s Country. Contact Tom to serve at the Downtown Campus.
